Big Smiles and Bright Futures in Rutland!
Today was a special day in Rutland as our graduating ORR seniors teamed up with the tiniest grads — our amazing kindergarteners — to celebrate Kindergarten Graduation!
The seniors, just days away from their own big moment, took time to cheer on the kindergarteners as they crossed their very first finish line. There were high-fives, hugs, and lots of smiles as two generations of Raiders shared one unforgettable milestone.
This beautiful moment reminds us how quickly time flies and how every journey starts with a small but meaningful step. Congratulations to our little graduates — and to our seniors, thank you for showing what it means to lead with kindness.

Field Trip Fun! 🍦🎨🚜
Our K–5th graders from Rutland had an amazing day exploring the SDSU campus! They got a behind-the-scenes look at the Dairy Plant (and yes—there was ice cream!), visited the Agriculture Museum to learn about farming history, and soaked up some creativity at the Art Museum. What a cool mix of learning and fun! 🐄🌽🖌️

I am deeply committed to building on the strong foundation that already exists here, and I look forward to partnering with students, families, staff, and the wider community to create an environment where every student thrives.
A little about me: I’ve been married to my husband, Joe, for 8 wonderful years. We live in Wentworth with our 8-month-old son, George, and our three dogs! ORR is more than where I work—it’s part of my family’s story, and I’m all in on making it the best it can be.
I’m looking forward to working together to support and inspire every learner who walks through our doors. Here’s to an amazing journey ahead—full of growth, success, and Raider Pride!

The ORR Elementary - Ramona site held their Oral Interp contest today. Students in grades k-5 selected a poem to memorize and present for the public. Grades 3-5 were also judged by a panel of judges.
