Good Morning All!

Please see the attached graphic for more info.
Go Raiders!!

ORR Parents and Students,
Please see the information below about the homecoming festivities after lunch in Ramona. The plan is to have the parade at 1:30 PM and then have the pep rally around 2:00 PM or shortly after the conclusion and cleanup of the parade. The pep rally will take place on the football field. With all that being said, we know the weather for Friday does not look overly pleasant. We will let everyone know by 11:00 AM on Friday if the parade is still a go. Regardless if the parade happens or not, Rutland students will still be coming over to Ramona for festivities in the gym and in classrooms followed by a pep rally in the gym. Once the pep rally is over, Rutland students will get on the bus and head back to the school. Information about picking up students or having them released from class is listed below:
Rutland Elementary, Junior High, and High School = If students would like to go home with their parents after the pep rally in Ramona, they will need to let Mrs. Weston in the office know by Friday at 10:00 AM. Checking out students early, still counts as an absence. Students that are not picked up by their parents, will take the bus home and report to their last period or homeroom class. Bus routes home will run on time.
· Varsity volleyball players and Junior high football players from Rutland will stay in Ramona where they will be supervised by a coach until it is time to get ready for their game or practice.
Seniors will be able to leave after the pep rally without the absence counting against them, but they will still need to check out with the office.
Oldham-Ramona Elementary and Junior High = If students would like to go home with their parents after the pep rally, they will need to let Mrs. Cox in the office know. Checking out students early, still counts as an absence. If they do not go home with their parents, they will report back to class and finish the day.
Oldham-Ramona High School = If students would like to leave after the pep rally, they can check out at the office with a parent or they can have the parent call the office and excuse them. Parents can only excuse their students. Students checking out early, will still be counted absent. All students will be returning to their eighth period class at the end of the day where they will take attendance.
Seniors will be able to leave after the pep rally without the absence counting against them, but they will still need to check out with the office.
Please call the school or email Mr. Johnson at: andrew.r.johnson@k12.sd.us, if you have questions about the activities after Friday.
Thank you.
Congratulations to the Class of 2024 Oldham-Ramona-Rutland Kings and Queens: Oldham-Ramona King Caden Hojer and Queen Alivia Bickett, with Rutland Queen Julia Trygstad and King Logan Trygstad!
